A Wing and a Prayer

So much to share! Pollinating Kindness has taken wing and flown across the country.

My aunt Linda integrated Pollinating Kindness with her work at St. Joseph’s Hospice (images left and end), in Covington, LA, spawning so much local participation that art writer Sarah Bonnette at the Times Picayune wrote this wonderful story about the project to be included in the paper today, on Christmas Eve.

My aunt CC launched butterflies at a Pink Tea for breast cancer in Durham, North Carolina, where each guest received a butterfly wtih an act of kindness. And I brought a few on a trip to Hollywood, Florida for an exhibition at the Art and Culture Center. I hope beachgoers discover and share (image below).

I am inspired by each and every participant, their acts of kindness and their launches, those I know about and those that I don't. It is invogorating and fun to see this project grow and transform with each participant’s creativity and community. Most importantly, it is special to know that so people are getting inspired and reminded to give and receive kindness.

If you or anyone you know would like to, please join us!
